Kitty interviewed by ten year old Logan WhiteAfter Deena White read Kitty's book Sins of a Father, Forgiving the Unforgivable, her ten year old son Logan became very interested in the book and its author. Later, Kitty received a phone call requesting a meeting with Logan who wanted to interview her as a credited class project. Kitty invited Logan and his mom to her house for a casual interview (albeit dessert and hot chocolate were served in Kitty's finest china.) When Kitty answered the door, Logan presented her with two lovely bouquets. After expressing her delight, Kitty added, "But why two?" Logan grinned sheepishly and admitted, "I couldn't make up my mind - so I got both." After snacks, Logan flourished his sheet of paper containing his questions and the delightful interview took place. Afterwards, Kitty presented him with a large notebook and encouraged him to begin journaling. She also gave Logan enough bookmarks for her book Good Mews (which he is now reading and says he "just loves") for each of his class members. His first journal entry, his mom later said, was his interview report. She also reported that Logan's class was delighted with the bookmarks and listened excitedly as he related his first-time experience of meeting "a real author." Best of all, his teacher was quite impressed with his report.
Who knows, Logan may someday be a best seller! Then again, maybe not. Logan is an avid baseball player, playing on two teams with one team currently undefeated after six games. This is no surprise, however - his dad (also named Logan) is Assistant General Manager of Scouting for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Go for it, little buddy! You can do anything you want! |
